Color interactions and the interplay between light and dark are important to Lennartsson.
Tommy Lennartsson, born in 1970, is a Swedish artist who creates bold and colorful mixed media canvases. Color interactions and the interplay between light and dark are important to Lennartsson. The works are performed in a range of materials such as charcoal, ink, acrylic, pencil, pastel and spray paint.
The process is spontaneous and impulsive in which Lennartsson superimposes his materials on top of each other and occasionally stitches the elements together until the piece begins to take shape. Due to its intuitive style, no two works are alike and each explores something fresh and exciting. He currently lives and works in Sweden.
